Registrations are now open for the Western Australia Education Day breakfast session.
Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs) are considered one of the greatest challenges for persons performing clean intermittent catheterisation (CIC) and their healthcare professionals.
This breakfast will introduce a model developed to address UTIs amongst adults with neurogenic lower urinary tract dysfunction performing CIC. The model provides an overview of the risk factors involved in urinary tract infections, with specific emphasis on those that can be handled and modified by the clinician in daily practice.
Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the risks associated to UTIs for IC users. Participants will learn and practice using the UTI Assessment Tool through facilitated case studies that can be used in daily clinical practice to improve outcomes for their clients performing CIC.
Included in your registration fee however limited spaces available, so register now.
