One in five people over 30 years of age experience constipation at some point.

These 3 foods can help at:

I couldn't find 3 foods listed in that link. It was a website that jumped all over the place and wouldn't stay still and only talked about high fibre diets when you could stop ads popping up everywhere, not 3 foods. Are there 3 helpful foods? Or a high fibre diet which is not helpful for those of us on a low fibre diet? I was really interested in what foods could be helpful.

Dear #MAB*,

Thank you for your question on the post “Help for the bowels” and welcome to the forum.

I’m sorry that you were unable to access the link to three foods that will help…… It did work for me today, so not too sure what happened. The 3 type of foods are high fibre foods and were fruit and vegetables, beans and whole grains. As you have stated you are on a low fibre diet this information unfortunately will not be of help to you.

Cheers
