Personal Statement
Incontinence has had a major impact on quality of life for many of my patients, and my family and friends. As a continence nurse I am passionate about preventing bowel and bladder incontinence, improving treatment and reducing the stigma that still exists.
I have been a state representative on the Board during the unification process, and I’m keen to contribute to the continued growth and development of the national organisation. As a member representative I would advocate for education and networking opportunities for health professionals and community members, research to improve treatments, and increased awareness of resources for continence care.
