Helpline
One call could make a difference. Speak to a nurse continence specialist for advice and support.
We envision a future where all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples feel safe, respected and empowered to access continence health information and services that honour culture, community and connection to Country. Good bladder and bowel health is part of living strong – physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Many Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples face barriers to accessing continence support due to a lack of culturally safe services and limited awareness of available resources. Continence health is also a topic that is often not discussed.
Through addressing these challenges, we aim to improve timeliness of care, comfort and quality of life. Continence Health Australia is committed to walking alongside communities to provide continence health programs and resources that are culturally safe, strengths-based and guided by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices.
Please note: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people should be aware that our website and printed resources may contain the names, images and voices of people who have died.
