Dr Howard Goldman

Dr Howard Goldman, USA

Howard B. Goldman is Professor and Vice Chairman on the faculty of the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine with a joint appointment in the departments of urology and obstetrics and gynecology.  His interests are in the medical and surgical treatment of urinary incontinence and other types of voiding dysfunction, neuromodulation, prolapse repair, complex reconstructive female urologic surgery, robotic surgery and neurourology. His contributions to the literature include over 250 articles and book chapters, editor of three textbooks and panel member for a number of standardization, guidelines and best practice statement panels.
  

Dr Fancisco Martins

Dr Francisco Martins, Portugal 

Dr Francisco Martins is a Consultant Urologist with a focus on male and female genitourinary reconstruction, particularly the complications of pelvic malignancies, minimally invasive treatment options for penile and urethral cancers, and Andrology. He obtained his Medical Degree at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Lisbon in 1983. He earned his title as Specialist in Urology by the Portuguese Medical Association, College of Urology, in 1993. He did temporary Urology residency training at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard University in Boston (September – December 1991), and research and clinical fellowship at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles (1993 –1994). His areas of major clinical and research interest are: Genito-urethral and Pelvic Trauma and Reconstruction, Vesicovaginal and Rectovaginal Fistula, Female Pelvic Medicine, Erectile Dysfunction, Urinary Diversion, and Penile and Urethral Cancer.

 

Prof Jalesh Panicker

Prof Jalesh Panicker, UK

Jalesh N. Panicker is a Uro-Neurologist based at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square and is Professor in Uro-Neurology and Clinical Neurology at the University College London (UCL) Queen Square Institute of Neurology in London, UK. 

Dr Panicker has an academic interest in Uro-Neurology and Pelvic Neurology spanning the neural control of the lower urinary tract in health and the neurological basis for urogenital dysfunction following inflammatory, degenerative and traumatic disorders of the nervous system.  He has published more than 200 peer reviewed papers, written more than 25 book chapters and edited two books.

Until recently Dr Panicker was a member of the Neuro-urology Promotion Committee of the International Continence Society, and is currently the Interdisciplinary officer of the International Neurourology Society building cooperation between Neurology and Urology.

 

Dr Angela Rantell

Dr Angela Rantell, UK

Angela gained a BSc (Hons) in Nursing Studies from King’s College London in 2003. She started working in the field of women’s health, first as a staff nurse and then as a sister on a Gynaecology, breast care and early pregnancy ward.

Since 2007, Angela has been working in the Urogynaecology Department at King’s College Hospital and is currently a Consultant Nurse. She is actively involved in research and was awarded a PhD in Urogynaecology in 2019 investigating sexual function in women with overactive bladder. In 2019 Angie was also awarded Royal College of Nursing credentialing for advanced level nursing practice.

To date she has published over 50 articles in peer reviewed journals and has written book chapters and contributed to National guidelines. As well as her clinical and research activities she provides advice to governmental bodies including NHS England. She is the past chair of the Nursing and Midwifery special interest group within IUGA, a member of the Nursing and Education committee for ICS and a co-opted member of the ACA Executive committee.
