Incontinence is often misunderstood and rarely talked about from a male perspective. In this episode, we hear from Ian, who courageously shares his personal story. In his late 50s, Ian began experiencing urinary urgency, frequency and incontinence – challenges that brought frustration, emotional strain and a search for answers.
Ian’s journey is one of resilience and self-discovery. Ian shares his journey which traverses many emotions and frustrations towards mastering his experiences and taking back control of his life.

Episode 4: Not every disability is visible
Not every disability can be seen, and that invisibility can make challenges harder. In this episode, we speak with Stephanie, who shares her powerful story of living with pelvic organ prolapse following a traumatic childbirth injury. Despite looking well on the outside, Stephanie discusses challenges with pain, discomfort and mobility that are often misunderstood or overlooked. Stephanie’s story shines a light on the reality of hidden disabilities and the importance of compassion, awareness and advocacy.

Episode 5: My life with bowel incontinence
In this episode, we hear from Greg, who was born with a rare congenital condition called imperforate anus, affecting one in every 5,000 babies. Greg has lived with faecal (poo) incontinence all his life, and now he’s sharing his story to raise awareness, foster understanding and support others navigating similar experiences.
