National Conference on Incontinence Scholarships Program

Applications have now closed for registered nurses and physiotherapists with an interest in continence care working in rural and remote areas of Australia to attend the 26th National Conference on Incontinence in Sydney on 15-18 November 2017.

Funded under the National Continence Program, ten scholarships will be awarded to support attendance at this key event. Information about the conference can be found here.

Scholarship inclusions

  • Registration to the 26th National Conference on Incontinence, including the conference dinner and clinical workshops (subject to availability)
  • Travel and accommodation costs

The top scholarship winner will also be offered the opportunity to participate in a placement at a Sydney continence service.

Application process

Applications will be accepted online. Applicants will need to complete the following and upload as separate documents (Word or PDF formats accepted):

  • A short statement outlining how the scholarship will benefit their career interest in continence management and care (200 words)
  • A written essay on an aspect of continence management of interest (1,000 words)
  • A brief resume/curriculum vitae 

All applicants must read and agree to the Guidelines for Applicants before submitting their application.

Conference scholarship applications close Friday 1 September 2017. Previous conference scholarship winners are ineligible to apply.
