The Conference will be held in Sydney from November 15-18 and the recipients will receive registration to the conference as well as accommodation and airfares. Registered nurse Maybn Clarke and Physiotherapist Anna Lennie were announced as the leading applicants in their fields and will attend an observation placement at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
Graduate Certificate in Continence Promotion and Management
The Continence Foundation of Australia is offering co-funded scholarships for registered nurses and physiotherapists to complete the Graduate Certificate in Continence Promotion and Management. Applications close 29 September. For more information or to apply
Core Foundations education workshop
On 31 August, we hosted the successful Core Foundations education workshop for more than 100 fitness professionals, physiotherapists and continence nurses. Fitness expert Marietta Mehanni and pelvic floor physiotherapist, Sara O’Loughlin addressed the gathering, providing presentations on the impact of exercise on the pelvic floor and how to incorporate pelvic floor safe exercises within their practices.
Certificate II in Continence Promotion and Care
The Foundation will also be offering co-funded scholarships for nurses and physiotherapists working in primary health care to complete the Certificate II in Continence Promotion and Care in October.
