Recently, we published an article in response to a media story about children being punished for going to the toilet during class time. It’s been great to see the topic gaining so much attention and generating healthy discussion about access to toilets.

ABC radio presenter Richard Stubbs (774 Melbourne) has also been following the story and discussed the issue with Dr Janet Chase, a continence and pelvic floor physiotherapist specialising in paediatric continence. Their in-depth conversation covers the physiological and psychological causes of incontinence and also tackles some of the common myths. It’s a great discussion to listen to for anyone with young children.
