The Continence Aids Payment Scheme (CAPS) is an Australian federal government scheme that provides financial support to eligible people to help cover the cost of continence products.
Eligibility for CAPS
You may be eligible if you:
- are aged 5 or older
- are an Australian citizen or permanent resident
- have permanent and severe incontinence due to an eligible neurological or other medical condition.
How to apply for CAPS
- Check the eligibility criteria on the application form
- Download the CAPS application form from the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing
- Ask your health professional to complete Section 3 of the application form confirming your condition and management plan
- Submit your application together with the required documents to Services Australia.
