Scholarships for members to attend the 2026 Professional Development Day

Rural and Remote Scholarships for 2026 are now open.

Award details

Funding for these scholarships is provided by the volunteer State and Territory Advisory Committees of Continence Health Australia. This continues their longstanding commitment to supporting practitioners in rural and remote communities across Australia.

Scholarship allocations

Queensland/Northern Territory: 2 × $2,000

New South Wales: 2 × $1,200

South Australia: 2 × $800 + 1 x metro complimentary registration

Western Australia: 2 × $2,000

How the scholarship is paid

We provide these scholarships by reimbursement once we receive your receipts, up to the maximum amount for each state.

Eligibility

The Rural and Remote Scholarships are primarily available to rural and remote practitioners who are:

  • Professional Members of Continence Health Australia (find out about becoming a professional member)
  • a RA2 practitioner or higher as per the ASGS RA Standard (except for SA Metro scholarship)
  • a registered health professional
  • currently registered with their relevant professional registration board
  • able to demonstrate an ongoing commitment to continence management and care

Professionals seeking registration via training or placement may be considered.

Previous recipients of a STAC Professional Development Day scholarship are not eligible to apply.

How to apply

Applicants are encouraged to register for the event before applying.

Successful recipients will be reimbursed through the scholarship, enabling them to secure leave entitlements in advance.

If a scholarship recipient has not registered at the time of award, $185 (equivalent to the Early Bird registration fee) will be deducted from the scholarship amount, and a complimentary registration will be provided.

Application deadlines

Applications close one month before the respective State Professional Development Day.

Closing dates are:

Queensland: Friday 17 July 2026

New South Wales: Tuesday 4 August 2026

South Australia: Wednesday 30 September 2026

Western Australia: Tuesday 20 October 2026
