To support research in continence health, we have launched CHARG – Continence Health Australia Research Grant.
This program provides seed funding for quality initiatives – small studies and early-career research – that:
- advance understanding and care of continence
- build evidence and support improved continence care.
CHARG supports research that considers:
- bladder and bowel symptoms across the lifespan
- consumer engagement
- diversity among participants and investigators
- translation of findings into improved outcomes for people living with continence issues.
Projects may include pilot studies, preliminary investigations, or early-stage research with clear potential for impact.
About the grant
CHARG provides an annual funding round to support research that improves understanding, management, and delivery of continence care.
CHARG aims to:
- strengthen the continence research evidence base
- support emerging and early-career researchers across Australia
- encourage research with clear relevance to practice, policy and lived experience.
