Nocturia is waking any number of times during the intended sleep period. There are many different causes of nocturia, most are beyond the bladder.
This webinar with Dr Tee Juan Ong will focus on the many different causes, with a focus on nocturnal polyuria.

Dr Ong is a Geriatrician at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, consulting in the Royal Park Continence Service, conducting urodynamic studies, education and research.
In his private practice, he provides comprehensive geriatric assessments in residential aged care facilities.
He has been blessed with two lovely young children, and thus is keen to improve his nocturia and first uninterrupted sleep time.

- Nocturnal polyuria is the passing of large volumes of urine at night-time during the main sleep period, with nocturnal polyuria index of >33%.
- A bladder diary is crucial in assessment of nocturia and nocturnal polyuria.
- Advocate for treatment of the bladder/outlet as well as specific cause of nocturnal polyuria.
