Event details

Date 17 September 2026, 7:30pm – 8:30pm
Location Online

Incontinence Associated Dermatitis (IAD) is a common and often under-recognised form of skin damage that can have a significant impact on comfort, wellbeing, and quality of life for people living with incontinence.

Despite its prevalence, differentiating IAD from pressure injuries and implementing effective management strategies can remain challenging across aged care, disability, and healthcare settings.

This webinar will explore current evidence and practical approaches to the assessment and management of IAD, supporting clinicians to strengthen their knowledge and confidence in practice.

Through discussion of skin assessment, validated scoring systems, and best practice management of damaged and eroded skin, participants will gain valuable insights to assist in the prevention and treatment of IAD and improve outcomes for those in their care.
