In 2026, we’re asking dunny hunters to help uncover hidden toilets and find those ‘secret’ ones which may be hiding in plain sight. Add a toilet to the National Public Toilet Map and go into the draw to win a $1,000 Discovery Holiday Parks voucher.
About the National Public Toilet Map
The National Public Toilet Map is a free website and app that shows the location of more than 25,000 public toilet facilities across Australia.
More than just a simple directory, the National Public Toilet Map also allows you to filter and search for specific toilet features, including opening hours, showers, wheelchair accessibility and adult change facilities.
The purpose of the Great Dunny Hunt
The National Public Toilet Map has proven to be a useful resource for people in Australia, particularly those who experience incontinence and would otherwise restrict themselves to familiar places for fear of not having access to a toilet.
A recent consumer survey found 49% of respondents currently don’t feel comfortable embarking on long trips without knowing where the first toilet stop will be.
While knowing the proximity and accessibility of public toilets may not seem significant, for those Australians surveyed:
- 42% said incontinence has caused a reluctance to leave home.
- 25% are reluctant to go about daily activities.
- 22% say incontinence has affected their relationships with family or friends.
By adding as many toilets to the map as possible, we make it easy for everyone in Australia to quickly find a toilet that meets their needs when they are out and about.
How to enter the Great Dunny Hunt 2026
- Visit the National Public Toilet Map website or download the App available on Google Play or the App Store
- Log in (or register) to add a toilet facility
- Select ‘Yes, I would like to enter the Great Dunny Hunt’ and enter your email address to go into the running to win a $1,000 voucher from Discovery Holiday Parks
- Enter as many times as you like
