About us

What we do

We empower people with trusted information, advocate for better policies and help normalise conversations about incontinence (bladder and bowel leakage).

Our purpose

Continence health for people of all ages in Australia.

Our core values

  • Accountability
  • Collaboration
  • Inclusiveness
  • Integrity
  • Respect

What we do

  • Start the conversation – We talk openly about incontinence to help people understand the facts and challenge common myths.
  • Provide support and education – We offer trusted information, practical advice and training for people living with incontinence and the health professionals who support them.
  • Advocate for change – We speak up for better services, fairer funding and policies that meet the needs of people living with incontinence and those who support them.
  • Build partnerships – We work with other organisations to increase our impact and find new ways to support continence health.

Why our work matters

The work we do matters because:

  • 1 in 3 (7.2 million) Australians over the age of 15 years are affected to some degree by incontinence, ranging from moderate to very severe.
  • 71% of people with incontinence are aged between 15 and 64 years.
  • By 2032, up to 8.6 million people in Australia aged 15 years and older will be living with incontinence.
  • Many people do not talk about incontinence, and it remains misunderstood.
  • With early support, incontinence can often be managed or treated, significantly improving a person’s quality of life.
