Men’s health

Recognise changes in bladder and bowel control health early and take simple steps to maintain confidence and wellbeing.

Every man* deserves to feel confident, informed and in control of his health. By recognising changes in bladder and bowel control early and seeking support, men can take simple, effective steps to improve their wellbeing and continue doing the things they enjoy.

As men age, it’s common to notice changes in bladder habits such as needing to go to the toilet more often, or leaking some urine (wee) after using the toilet (after-dribble). These symptoms can be managed and may even disappear over time. Understanding what’s happening in the body is the first step toward feeling more confident and in control.

Around 2.4 million men and boys in Australia experience incontinence.
